Using the standards of behavior identified in Phase Two and core, evidence-based communication improvement approaches in the CAREmunication® curriculum, we customize training for frontline staff, frontline managers, senior leaders and physicians as a springboard to gaining organization-wide commitment and ongoing improvement. This phase includes:
  • Focused development for senior leaders and middle-managers, emphasizing both tools and techniques to drive performance improvement among their teams
  • Training for frontline staff using a train-the-trainer methodology that builds critical thinking skills and specific communication behaviors essential for individual and team success
  • Intranet content to provide just-in-time access to communication tools and models introduced in frontline staff training
  • Communication Tips-of-the-Day to serve as reminders of the importance of effective communication
  • All materials related to successful delivery of the program, including Facilitator Guides, workbooks, badge cards, an online communication skills self-assessment, and additional materials as required and requested
  • Adapted curriculum for physicians to be delivered for CME credit in a streamlined format
